Board of Management
ASRA is a philanthropic voluntary organization and it has been registered under the Societies of Registration Act, XXI of 1860 since the year 1991. Its’ Registered Office is located in Cuttack city and field works are mostly implemented in Jagatsinghpur district in Odisha. Since its establishment, mainly developmental works relating to persons with disabilities, aged, rural poor women, elected representatives are undertaken in the field of education, capacity building, livelihood and social services etc.
ASRA received legal status as a state level non-government non-profit making Society with registration under the rules and provisions of Societies Registration Act 1860 in the year 1991, 12AA & 80G (5) (vi) of Income Tax Act 1961 and Foreign Contribution (Regulation) Act 1976, Persons with Disabilities Act 1995 and J. J. Act 2005.
ASRA has a fifteen member General Body and Governing Board constitutes five members team elected for a term of four years to manage the affairs of the organization. The Governing Board is supported by trained and well experienced team of 95 employees and volunteers to carry out the programs of the organization. ASRA has a properly furnished registered office at Cuttack with branch offices at Jagatsinghpur HQ, Singharpur and Naugaon in Jagatsinghpur district and one branch office at Isaniberhampur in Cuttack district.

Monitoring & Evaluation
The organization has 1.5 acres of lands at Singharpur where a two storied building of about 15000 sft. Size with compound wall has been constructed. Organization has proposed to shift the existing Residential Special School at Panisiali to this new building. The building is well furnished with adequate class rooms, office rooms, separate hostels for boys’ and girls’ and facilities for kitchen and Dining rooms. Similarly there is another two storied building of 12000 sq.ft at Naugaon where One Sr. Citizen Home and IRCA center are functioning. Besides, organization has 0.22 decimal land Koshal village in Jagatsinghpur district.
All total 95 employees are engaged in various projects of the organization. Out of the total employees 36 are female. The organization is always giving importance to gender equality and a few of them also belong to SC category. Since, the employees are engaged in various projects of both Central and State Government, they are provided with prescribed consolidated pay structure as per the guidelines of different schemes. However, the employees are selected as per eligible qualification and experience
A five members team from among the Board of Management including experts in social field constitute the Monitoring & Evaluation Committee. The team regularly visits different project sites to access the effectiveness of work performance and ensure monthly progress report from respective project heads. Wherever necessary the team also gives necessary advice and suggestions to achieve desired out-put as already specified at the time of project implementation. The team has also power to intervene on project expenditure matter and may also suggest the Board of Management for necessary alteration of the plan and strategies.
